BAB 13 Simple Snail's Trail

Make a simple version of the classic Snail's Trail quilt pattern with THANGLES.

This quilt is made from fabric of one strip size (OSS).  The cutting is super easy!  All you need is 2.5" x 45" wide strips.

 With this pattern we show you a technique that is only possible with THANGLES.  You make what we call a T-Log.  This unit eliminates seams, does not waste fabric and speeds up construction of your quilt. 

There are two color groupings for the quilt.  Color 1 are the darker fabrics.  Color 2 are lighter fabrics (or a single light fabric).  You will need equal amounts of each.  You can make this quilt from coordinated collections of fabrics like jelly rolls or Bali pops.  

There are two main options for making and then arranging your blocks.  

The quilt pattern gives directions for 5 sizes;  Baby, Lap, Twin, Queen and King.

The project pack includes the pattern and a pack of 2" Thangles, that are enough to make the quilt up to the twin size.  If you want a queen or king size you will need an additional pack of 2" Thangles.
